The one with the encounter AGAIN!! (Wats the deal!!! REALLY!!!)

Some latest updates on my life recently.
Had the opportunity to try out some interviews in some local companies.
I am thankful for that although some, I have absolute no interest whatsoever but what to do…Some really pisses me off is when there were no time management on their part and even though you may be the employer, you shouldn’t portray the image to your fellow staff that there is no time management in the firm.
I had to wait damn freaking long before they are ready to see me and mind you, I was there alone and not as if there were like tens and tens of them, that I will understand. If not, it was totally ridiculous.

Other updates on my life…
Seems like my Aus trip is almost finalized. Mum will be joining and it will be my first time traveling business class. Wow… what a experience, I can’t wait… (Don’t judge me!)
I am thankful for it okay.
My convocation is in July and I will be attending and at the same time, celebrating mum’s birthday as well. I am really glad.

Other places I will be visiting will be Sydney becos of friends, Canberra becos of graduation and finally long trip at Cairns becos of the Great Barrier Reefs.

I am not like bragging or anything as I am going to pay certain amount of the trip and I am going to return the money when I can as well unlike a certain friend of mine who manage to ‘deceive’ an old fool from Aus into paying all his expenses to Brisbane, Gold Coast for a whooping… 9 days!!

Also not before stopping by at ‘Koh Samui’ Thailand for the most expensive villa he can find. (Altogether now… SLUT!!) haha...

I went to Brisbane, Gold Coast once and I was there only for 2 days and I was so sick of the place… I mean, he is not a theme park kind of a person, I wonder what he was thinking and what he intend to do there, shopping? Shopping there sucks as well. Apparently 'shameful' doesn't seem to appear on his dictionary at all... Not even close.

And don’t come and give me the crap saying I am jealous of him as I don’t believe in taking things that are not mine unless I deserve it. For him, many would agree with me as well. And I believe there are many others that are doing the same thing.

So up to my next update.
Abt a week ago, I somehow got another freaky encounter in the lift (AGAIN!).
How lucky am I…
This time is different bcos I didn’t see the ‘MAN’ but Kev did. Apparently ‘he’ had a message specially for ME… (Hair standing again…)

Since I couldn’t ‘meet’ him in ‘person’ this time, he had to pass the msg to Kev and then to me… I cry again of course when I realize that ‘he’ is with me in the tight little compartment when going up to my level. I wonder when I will stop crying about such incident.
(Don’t judge me! You go experience it and tell me how u feel later)

So the msg for me says…“Remember the vows I made in front of my father’s grave as I haven’t been following it.”Okay… abit vague rite… I mean, that happened like months ago and I couldn’t really remember in details what I said other than ‘outing’ myself to him… hehe
(Kev told me he kind of flipped in his grave) but it did revolve ard not being like him and be the opposite, which means that I will strive to be a better person… but then again, what I wrote abt above did just the opposite again… Okok, I will make an effort and will stop bitching so much…

My last update…
My piano grade 7 exam is this sat. what the hell am I thinking. I didn’t realize that after all these yrs of playing, my fingers are not as flexi as before. I don’t know why I kept on going but at the same time I couldn’t bear to ask myself to stop. It’s a very conflicting situation. I felt like pulling out but at the same time I want to complete it. Sigh… its so frustrating. I really feel like giving up…

The one with the divine “X”

It has finally came and gone.
I had finally finished watching the most ‘X’traordinary movie trilogy ever.
My all time favorite movie,
The Divine, the one and only, X MEN…




For those who haven’t watched the movie, DON’T WORRY, I am not going to spoil the fun for you. But I do need to tell you this… DON’T LEAVE THE CINEMA YET AFTER THE MOVIE, because after the credits have shown, there is a short segment hinting us there might be another sequel coming.

Throughout the movie, it was a roller coaster ride for me. Crying and laughing, sad and joyous. It tackles issues of discrimination which I believe all of us deal with everyday. Like what Singer the previous director intention. His intention was to bring everyone together living in peace, may it be gays or straight, black or white. That was why Ian decided to take on the mutant role as he wanted to represent the gay minority of the society. I am sure many would know now that Singer, the original director is gay as well.




As many ‘X’fans would have realised what is coming next in this movie. The resurrection of Jean Grey aka Phoenix and how Jean tries to recontrol herself before Dark Phoenix took over her finally. Although I am freakingly excited abt this movie, there were also the disappointments in the character build up of the movie. Several of the Xmen did not have a chance to showcase their talents and powers. It was such a shame especially during the last fight where the good versus the evil, there were so many of the evil characters but only a miserable few for the good, and most of the time, the main characters of the movie got to flex more actions then the rest. Partly due to the request for more time on the movie by Halle which director Brett later agreed. That was one of the biggest disappointment inthe movie.

Other characters which we loved didn’t manage to make it back to the screen like nightcrawler, gambit and even the sentinals which would could them US$1 million to make one by the way All these were wishful thinking. On the consolation , we got to experience new bloods like Shadowcat, Colossus, Angel, Beast for the good and Juggernaut, Callisto, Spike for the bad, and the much anticipated Iceman vs Pyro fight scene.
Many have been speculating whether would there be another sequel although I pray they would but I doubt 20th Century Fox would fork out anymore cash as “The Last Stand” was the most expensive production ever. But what was confirm would be the spin off of Hugh’s character, Wolverine. Sigh. I hated this character the most among all Xmen by the way. The other possible spin off would be Magneto with Xavier when they were younger. Maybe what happen is that they would introduce other characters within the spin off. You may never know and we fans can only pray…

The one Soul Patrol trashes McPheever

I eagerly waited for the moment to start.

At 8am in the morning, it finally started and it started off with Carrie and gang singing us off with ‘I made it through the rain’ and as the performances went on, I was secretly hoping and wishing my dearest Kellie would make an appearance.

Sadly, she did not have an opportunity to belt out any numbers on her own or with any stars unlike Paris. I wonder why…

But they did make a segment just for her… ‘Puck & Pickler’, where Kellie got to taste the escargot and lobster for the first time. It was great to see her in short hair and in her usual self again. As my fav idols were voted off one by one, Kellie, Paris and Elliot.

It doesn’t really matters who won actually. But I do believe that McPheever would be able to grab a larger market on her album then Taylor. Like Simon said in the beginning, her voice is more current and I believe, it would be a case of Déjà vu, Ruben & Clay where the runner-up out shines the champion in the end.

I can’t wait for the next season. And congrats to Carrie for winning 2 awards in the Country ‘Grammys’ for Best New Artist and Best Single, ‘Jesus Takes the Wheel’. Hope she does as well as Kelly.

Talking abt singing competitions in my previous entry,
Singapore Idol is coming up again. BORING…

I read some article sometime ago talking abt Singaporeans’ dream to make it big in the music industries and I totally agreed to what the writer is trying to say and I also have some opinions to add as well.

Can you really make it big in Singapore as an artist?

Answer is Yes and No.

Why is that so you may ask…
Please I don’t mean to be rude and if I offended anyone in my later entry, please forgive me as I am just trying to give you some heads up and please do think about it before you past judgment on me.

Why No?

Well, just look at our 1st season’s contestants, what has happened to them, Taufik & Sly both managed to release an album, but was it great? So what if Taufik managed to sell a couple of thousands or so, where is this going to lead him? A second album? Who is going to buy them? I mean, come on, think about it. It is also due to some racial issues as well. I can’t stress more bcos I don’t want to be like some of our past bloggers who made the mistake of writing the wrong things and ended up with a slap on their butt but do think about it. All you are going to get is your 15mins of fame after that just be lucky that your name is being mentioned or you are being featured in our ‘Gotcha!’ When the 2nd seasons comes up and your name is being mentioned, people will start saying… Oli who??

Why Yes?

Lets look at another spectrum of people who succeed in the music industry in Spore. Do you notice a pattern? Did you notice the race? Obvious enough? Think!I think you are starting to get the picture.Its not bias or anything, it is just that there is a larger market out there for such people. Did any of the other spectrums of people in Spore made it big locally or in other countries? I mean seriously speaking, there are much more talented and better vocals in their own country and I don’t think anyone in Spore can compare to theirs, just look at their idol competitions.Then again look at Sly, its not a 100% successful formula. He is the exception.

So for all the idol hopefuls coming up, good luck with your 15mins of fame.
For the rest of us, wake the fuck up, stop dreaming and start working hard.

The one with Crazy Christians...

Well, I went to the salon on Fri to color my hair dark this time.
My blonde days are over and I must say…

Blondes do have more fun in everyway. Way cool. Haha.
Don’t ask me why, just go and try and you will find out ;p

So, not only the Spore Idol is on the hot topic of this week, something else heated up on last Fri as well. As Kev & I were chatting with the manager of Cathay picture house, he told us of an incident that had happened awhile earlier at Plaza Singapura’s Golden Village. Apparently, a bunch of Christians decided to take actions in their own hands by protesting and threatening moviegoers if they would watch the ever popular, ‘The Da Vinci Code’. People who wanted to watch movies at GV Plaza had to divert their direction to the next nearest theatre which is at Picturehouse, hence the overly crowded theatre on a Fri afternoon. Of course the operation manager called up the police and the ‘Holy’s were dispersed shortly. I don’t see why is there a need to make such a scene. I don’t see any Anti-Christs carrying parangs chopping down any C.H.C. in sight when the whole congregation waltzed into the theatre to ‘Passion of Christ’. Drama.

Anyway, that morning as I was still sleeping, my flat was under the ‘Every Lift at Every Level’ upgrading program and some mother fuckers started drilling right on top of my bedroom at fucking 8am in the morning. Hello!!! There are supposed to have some rules for these… Not only I have to endure 6 months of construction works being done, but started drilling at 8am on a Saturday was just too much. How fucking considerate the upgraders are. I don’t blame the Indians bcos they are just following orders but those fucking son of a bitch… I guess their wives must have chased them out of the house early and they decided to take it out on us innocent victims who were just trying to catch up on their fucking beauty sleep.

Let this be a warning. If it happens again, I am going to throw something dirty on their office under our flat. If they give me crap so early in the morning, I won’t let them have a pleasant working day as well. Unless they can withstand the stench they are going to get outside their office doors.

Changing to another topic, I witnessed something disturbing while driving up to work. At a junction near my place, I saw a motorbike stuck under a lorry and they are blocking the entire direction. Kev had to filter out left from the side exit to get out of the situation. When I passed by the accident the motorist was still lying on the road rolling around, mourning in pain while the driver was busy calling the ambulance I suppose. But what was disturbing is the rest of the passenger were just standing there and looking around.

The problem is, they are blocking the ENTIRE traffic, no one can go through, those dumb ass could have moved the vehicles aside and what is most important is that they could have helped the motorist up and lay him on the grass pavement just in case another dumb ass driver ran over him. I mean, they were really just like bochap the whole situation and there were like blood everywhere obviously…

The one partying at Zouk...

It’s HuiJia’s Bday and she decided to celebrate at Zouk on Vesak day itself. I kind of drag crowded places esp on a public holiday but since it’s going to be Li Wen and Michelle ‘Cool’ Bday celebration as well, I decided to go ahead.

As usual, after seemed like eons of waiting, I managed to meet up with Alyssa & Scott, then Pee & Jac and lastly Dera & Samuel at Raffles the Stamford’s Kopitiam where I, Kev, Pee & Jac had our dinner before heading down to Zouk supposedly at 11pm to meet the rest. But knowing the multi patterns of HuiJia, she would always want to make a grand entrance sashaying into the club.

At close to 12am, we were all gathering outside Zouk and true enough, dear JiaJia still hadn’t show yet. After socializing for 30mins with Li Wen and the rest, she finally came. Finally, we all proceed to enter the club. Soon, more friends joined in, all from the same class in their poly I presumed. But all the guys except for Scott & Mark, they are really some antisocial pricks. But what to do, can’t blame them to be homofreaks. Really some piece of ass.

Anyway, while in Zouk, I can’t help but say that there are some really good looking guys. And here I thought all good looking ones had been turned into gays. Haha. But then again, I don’t understand why they have to be so crude and uncivilized. Pushing, shouting, fighting…

Men, can’t stand them but you can’t live without them.

The night ended quite okay, not fantastic due to some insensitivity of the host, but we did manage to have our own kind of fun. It was good.
