The one with a nitemare after touchdown...
There are many fears when we travel... getting mobbed, things got stolen, disastrous trip. We always prayed that neither of these would happen to us...
Well, I thot wrong...
It was a tiring flight back from London, the pax werent sleeping at all and the call lights were constantly beaming at the corner of my eye. I nearly blew my top until one of them mentioned,
"dun you all get a rest?" "How to fuck can we if all of you kept calling us..."
I was so tempted to say but of cos I didnt...
So when we touched down, I was so relieved and can't wait to go back home and have a good rest. As we were walking towards the Arrival Hall to get our Cargo bags, I noticed mine wasnt there yet. But after checking with the ground staff, I realised my bag will not be coming out of the belt anytime soon...
Someone mistakenly took my fucking cargo bag!!!
How did I knw?
I saw a similar model and of similar color on the side of the belt and as I checked further from the Lost & Found office, it belonged to an old lady from London... I was so upset and powerless as I imagine loosing all my winter gears and other impt stuff I had... To top it off, the ground staff wasnt very helpful at all. They didnt even initiate to do anything while I was the one asking them to check the identity of the similar unclaim bag I found at the belt.
Thank you so much pigs!!!
All in all, I stayed around in the airport feeling lost and uncertain for 2 hours before I picked myself up to go back home. When I reached home 45mins later, I received an unknown call and realised SIA called to inform me they found my bag.... YES!!!! I was overjoyed and relieved. They told me that they will be sending it over soon. Those were some of the most beautiful words I have ever heard.
So wats the moral of the story here...
Heck the regulations, I am going to decorate my freaking bag so much so that from a kilometre away I can see it or, as soon as you left the plane, ran like hell to the belt in case some DUMBASS decides to take your cargo bag on a joy ride.
That is just some of my advice, if you have more, please let me knw...
